100 Black Men of Silicon Valley is a non-profit 501 c3 organization and has no political or religious affiliations or ties.

Membership:
Prospective members can apply to this chapter at any time of the year. Candidates are screened and then interviewed by the members to ensure that individuals have the character and standing to serve as community role models and mentors. Members generally refer to the organization simply as “The 100BMSV.”
